In late March, Hobart played host to the Youth Network Symposium 2025. The event brought together young people, advocates, and professionals from across Tasmania to collaborate on pressing youth issues.
The annual event, organised by Youth Network of Tasmania (YNOT), provided a platform for voices across the sector to connect, share insights, and develop strategies to support young Tasmanians’ wellbeing and futures.
This year’s symposium featured keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and panel discussions focused on themes including mental health, education, employment, and youth participation in decision-making.
Tell Someone attended the event to raise awareness of the signs of grooming and child sexual abuse and how people can report their concerns. The Tell Someone interactive stall engaged directly with youth organisations to provide resources to help organisations, workers and individuals recognise, report, and prevent child sexual abuse.
